Alex Stein is a freelance scholar, writer and political commentator. He lives, works, and loves in a place called Zion. Alex is a compulsive reader of contemporary literary fiction, a moderately engaged follower of Liverpool Football Club, and a devotee of hip-hop music. He can be contacted here

Alex Stein was born and raised in London, Britain. He did a B.A. in History at the University of Manchester and an M.Phil in International Relations at the University of Cambridge, where he was the Queens’ College Abba Eban Scholar. He has also been a youth worker for the Jewish youth movement Noam. His articles have appeared in the Guardian, Haaretz, the Jerusalem Post, the Jewish Chronicle, and Greater Kashmir.
