To characterise Mondoweiss as an anti-Semitic site is ludicrous. There are a few anti-Semitic elements that post (comments) there, in the same way there are some serious Islamophobes there (addressing Palestinians as ‘cameljockeys’ I guess is alright in MZ’s eyes?) It’s a two-way street, pal.

Truth is that Phil and Adam should moderate but they’re too busy for that. They do have a commenting policy but it’s not enforced.

Let’s see Alex’s blog develop into a high traffic site and sit back and enjoy the sort of comments these boxes will attract. Me, I’m only small beer but I can already testify to the sort of trash one can receive when volume starts to flow.

Perhaps MZ should go and have a look at Mad Mel Phlips’ (look it up) Spectator blog to see how even mild critics of Israel get treated there?

What’s the name of that novel, “Hillbilly White Trash mutually kiss Jewish Chosen”? Not a nice thing; it does not answer how Jews lost their special status with G-D, and actually relinquished their special status with the Mover Of The Earth.

Alex, if your site is now becoming popularly linked by anti-Semitic sites you may want to start rethinking where your politics lead in the end. I think you’re talented and thoughtful, but perhaps it’s time for some introspection about the final destination Peace Now’s natural course?
