Its great to find someone else of a similar age (I will be 26 in November), who has also taken the decision to join the army. However, I haven't joined quite yet, I still have the small matter of a masters degree to finish up... Sorry to engage in the university snobbery debate, but how have you found explaining to Israeli friends that you not only have a second degree but it is from Cambridge. Surely this provides yet more comedy material for your blog. It never fails to amuse me how the tone of Israelis suddenly changes when they hear I go to Oxford. Oxxxfooord they exclaim!
